Spring

Spring is where the children's work lives.

Spring is the children's literature and education branch of The Museum of Brilliance. A new branch in its first season — one book in development, more to follow.

The approach

Spring honors childhood as genuine intellectual space. The books and materials come from years in classrooms and studios — watching how kids actually learn, what they remember, what lasts. Reggio. Montessori. STEAM. Art and science equally. Everything is made with intention. Nothing disposable.

Barnaby Bites: Spaghetti Day

Barnaby has three eyes, a striped tail, and orange patches. Today he's eating spaghetti, and he is very excited about it.

He doesn't push it around. He doesn't say no. When Barnaby sits down, something happens — a tremendous wiggle, and a verdict that matters: SLORPY.

This is a picture book for the child who won't try it. For parents and teachers watching kids refuse meals, stress out, and miss out on the joy of eating. Barnaby shows up hungry. He's never picky. And somehow, kids want to eat like him.

Written and illustrated by Keondra Hunter. Barnaby Bites: Spaghetti Day works at dinner tables, lunch lines, and in classrooms — especially for neurodivergent children navigating food aversions. Twelve spreads. Coming soon.
