§ One

Statement

I make work across painting, illustration, and children's literature. I'm interested in the line between what's decorative and what has something to say — and in spaces where education and art occupy the same room.

§ Two

Biography

Keondra is a visual artist and illustrator based in Dallas. She began painting in 2018 after relocating to Texas from Columbus, Georgia, and has since developed a practice spanning fine art, digital illustration, and children's picture books. Her first solo exhibition, Shots Fired on Valentine St., opened in December 2025.

Across eleven years of practice, she has worked extensively in early childhood education — teaching in studios, classrooms, and private homes, working with children from infancy through late elementary. She has served as a STEAM educator, studio instructor, traveling art instructor, and private nanny. This breadth of experience — understanding how children learn and develop across ages — directly informs her approach to the work she makes for young readers.

Through the Spring branch of The Museum of Brilliance, she publishes picture books and educational materials designed for classroom and home use.
